From 1991 CESCE extends its insuring activity to the branches of credit insurance and caution insurance for the Spanish market.
It is a public joint-stock company whose main shareholders are the Spanish State and the Spanish Banking Sector through Banco Santander Central Hispano (BSCH), Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), Banco Sabadell and Banco Popular Español as well as some insurance agencies.
